Lainey Wells made a strong return from injury, contributing 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals, showing her resilience and value to the team.

KB Farinde delivered a standout performance, crashing the boards with determination and recording 6 rebounds to go along with her 6 points. Meanwhile, Kinsley Darrow brought incredible energy and hustle, disrupting West’s offense and racking up an impressive 7 steals. Although West rallied in the second half and closed the gap, the B Team maintained their composure under pressure. They stayed strong defensively and held on for a nail-biting 20-19 victory. Keira Patel earned Player of the Game honors for her relentless hustle and exceptional all-around performance. Determined to improve, the girls dedicated their practices to sharpening their press defense and perfecting their inbounds plays. Their hard work paid off as they entered the second game with focus and determination. The game was tightly contested in the first half, with West holding a narrow lead of 7-6 at halftime. Aarya Rajendra and Amelia Poulides anchored the team under the basket, securing a combined total of 10 rebounds that kept their team competitive. Compared to their opening game, the Lady Broncos displayed significant improvement in their shooting, getting more attempts and turning them into points. Lydia Praytor, Abby Thomson, Amelia Poulides, and Zoe Ruempolhamer all contributed offensively, each scoring 4 points to keep the momentum alive. In the second half, the Lady Broncos rallied with a remarkable defensive effort, shutting out West completely and preventing them from scoring any points for the remainder of the game. The Lady Broncos surged ahead to claim a decisive 24-7 victory. The 7th grade A team girls wasted no time making their presence felt, coming out of the gate on fire. From the opening tip, they applied relentless full-court pressure, forcing turnovers and putting West on their heels. With their defense suffocating, they piled up points early, leaving the opposing team scrambling to keep up. By the end of the first half, the score was a jaw-dropping 34-2 in their favor, a testament to their defensive prowess and offensive execution. Hadley Naughton was an absolute menace on both ends of the floor, racking up 7 steals while also contributing an impressive 17 points. Despite coming off an injury, Naughton showed no signs of slowing down, playing with intensity and poise throughout the game. Right behind her was Claire Kainer, who also delivered a stellar defensive performance with 5 steals on the night, creating chaos for the opposition and setting the tone for the team.
