On Oct. 1st, the Broncos headed out to Andrew Brown West Park, to take on West, Cross Timbers and Colleyville. The Lady Broncos were out to try and achieve a 1st place finish after missing it to Cross Timbers by 5 points last week!

Our Top 10 performances came from Sabrina Wright (14:02) with 3rd place, Avery Arthur (14:55) with 7th place and Bridget Brassfield (14:56) closing in just a second behind in 8th. A Top 20 performance goes to Anandi Dhulipalla (15:47) who ran a Personal Best by 7 seconds and finished 14th. Another Personal Best was set by Naomi Centeno-Diaz running a full minute and five seconds, faster than last week. The 6th and 7th finishers for East were Noemi Pond and Jacqueline McCollum. Other Personal Bests this week were set by Akshara Darisipudi, Eva Mathew, Bhavna Narayanan, Suri Yang, and Noor Bhatty. In the end the Lady Broncos took 3rd.

The Lady Broncos are set to Race at the North Invitational Next Wednesday Oct. 8th at Andrew Brown West.

The 8th Grade Boys set to improve on both placement and time at this week's Meet against Cross Timbers, West, and Colleyville.

Our 1st finisher for the team was Jake Terry (12:22) who finished 5th overall. Ahan Kothalkar (12:53) set a new personal best by 30 seconds Benjamin Cai (12:54) finished in 12th place. Omar Neouchi finished 4th for the team and set a new PR by almost 2 minutes. Brayden Westfall finished 1 second behind his teammate. Mateo Hernandez being the teams 5th runner ran a personal best by 18 seconds and Harshith Srirama closed the scoring for the Team.

The Broncos finished 3rd overall and are geared up to fight back next Wednesday for a higher spot.

The 7th Grade Lady Broncos were looking to have another great showcase out the West Invitational.

Ainsley Keith (14:14) achieved another 7th place finish. Emily Steinmiller (14:14) and Cecilia Christian (16:49) both finished 14th and 15th, while Emma Elmer (17:26) and Anvitha Lekkala (17:46) rounded off the Top 20 with 19th and 20th place. Keren Samuel finished 6th for the team and Sara Gutierrez Encarnacion ran a personal best and finished 7th for the team score.

The 7th Grade Broncos, set out to try and knock Cross Timbers out of the first place spot. After tallying the scores they beat Cross Timbers but lost to West, earning another 2nd Place team finish.

Top 10 performances went to Frankie Vasquez (12:42) who finished 3rd overall, Kazimierz Guznar (13:17) finishing 9th and Oliver Sambandam (13:32) just behind him at 10th. Daniel Ulahannan (13:52) and Yodhik Annamaneni (14:07) both placed in the Top 20 finishing 15th and 19th. Ryan Davis and Thomas Gower finished 22nd and 23rd closing the team score.

The Broncos have a new target to try and beat at Zone, and show who’s the best in Coppell.
