C team was fired up and ready to end the night with a win. They worked together for every ball and had some incredible rallies against Heritage's tough balls. Lydia Praytor hustled her heart out to not let a ball hit the floor. Brittany Davis had her best game yet with incredible passes and energy to amp up her teammates. The girls strong serves is what led to them winning in 2 sets against Heritage. Players of the Week go to two girls that worked hard under pressure to make their serves and get us a strong lead when we needed it most. They were positive all night long and were such leaders. Congrats Emma Godiwalla and Harper Fiveash!

B team was determined to end their season with a win against Heritage. They had a slow start but as the set went on, the girls came together on defense and had some amazing rally’s. A team heads on the road to Heritage to compete in their last regular season game before the district tournament. This week the girls have been working on fighting through and never giving up and the girls got to see that first hand on Tuesday night when they watched the Varsity Volleyball fight back after a crazy set. It was like deja vu on Thursday night when we started off kind of slow and then came back to win the 2nd set BIG over Heritage. The girls came back fighting with some big POINTS from multiple girls last night. Our serving game was on FIRE with big serving points from Lucy, Juliettaa, Bree, Caroline, and Anisha. The rallies were long and every point was earned from these two teams. Our passing game was sharp last night with some stand out passing and defense from Luci and Bree. Bree and Luci’s effort on defense really kept us in the game, and contributed to the big win in set 2 13-25. The girls were throwing their bodies on the floor with unmatched effort to keep the ball alive for their team. For our offense game we had some big hits and kills. Our top leaders were: Lauren with 6 kills,Luci with 4, and Avery right behind her with 3. Every girl played so well on Thursday night and fought with such heart, but we fell just short in the 3rd set. The girls were upset about the loss, but we talked about how you can hold your head high on losses where you know you played your heart out and they did just that. It was so hard to choose a player of the game this week since all the girls did so well. How do you choose one when they play as a unit? I am stepping out of tradition…. Player of the game goes to “ THE A TEAM”.
