The Broncos marched into the first game of the season last night with a matchup with the Colleyville Colts. East was ready to play as the defense came out flying around the field stifling the offense of Colleyville with 3 total interceptions and plenty of big hits. Sash Suriya had himself a phenomenal night with 5 passing TD’s with three going to Luke Roberts, one to Drayton Shanks, and one to Anthony Lewis. The Broncos came out on top improving to 1-0 with a 38-6 win over the Colleyville Colts, with Anthony Lewis being the player of the game thanks to two interceptions and an 80 yard receiving TD.

The B team Broncos followed up that impressive performance with a great showing for themselves. Tanadorn Von Merveldt had an amazing start with 2 rushing TD’s on the first 2 offensive plays of the game. The defense was extremely dominant all night with great tackling, highlighted by an interception from Noah King. The Broncos improved to 1-0 with a 20-0 win, with Grant Hicks being the player of the game thanks to a touchdown catch and many tackles at linebacker.
