The 8th Grade C-Team was excited to start the night off with the first home game of the season! They won their first match 25-12 and their second match 25-9. Player of the game goes to Kaley Tweed for her amazing serving throughout both games. Kaley served 5 in a row the first game and a whopping 11 in a row in the second game. Allyssa Nam, Mara Ochienng, and Sloan Ragland also stood out in their games with strong defensive play. Way to go Broncos!

After cheering on the C-Team, B-Team was ready to hit the court! B-Team also won both matches, beating Colleyville 25-13 in each match. Player of the game goes to Caroline Campbell for her amazing game play all over the court. She showed amazing hustle and smart game play throughout the night. Haley Jost played amazing as well with 5 kills and Nitya Vasireddy played amazing defense. We are excited to see what next week brings for the team!

The 8th grade A team made a good showing at their first home game against Colleyville. Although they lost the first match 17-25, and despite putting up a good fight, lost in a closer match 20-25. Player of the game goes to Chenoa Bell for her leadership throughout the game. She demonstrated hustle all over the court and encouraged her teammates throughout the game. Other notables were Ann Jimmy and Bailey Johnson with their offense and strong swings. Lulu Abou-Jamous had great defense as the libero. These girls have a lot to look forward to as they come together this season.



7th Grade starts the home opener HOT

C team started their game off strong with some amazing servers behind the serving line. Advaitha had a great night and served 7 killer serves which gave the team a huge lead over the Colts. Harper Fiveash had a great kill on the net and Ellie Aguirre played her heart out on defense. Lainey Wells faced a lot of pressure behind the serving line but ended up serving the game winning serve! C team won both of their sets, starting off their season strong! Players of the week are Lainey and Advaitha for their strong serves under pressure and their drive to always get better.

B team had a tough fight against a strong Colleyville defense. They sadly fell short in both sets but still had some great plays. Abby Thompson and Zoe Ruempolhamer were great leaders on the court and had great sets all night. Georgia Wheeles also played her heart out on defense. Player of the week was Gabby Hernandez for her constant leadership and hustle on and off the court.


A team started off the first set against Colleyville really strong with a back and forth lead. Lucy with 5 aces and Caroline with 6 aces from the back line got us ahead and some stand out plays from Bree with 5 kills and 10 perfect serve receive balls to make it a competitive set and keep us in the game. We fell short, but we are ready to work for next week against Grapevine. Player of the game goes to Bree for her outstanding effort and hustle.
