The 7th Grade Lady Broncos played their first game of the season Thursday night against Pike. C-team quickly began the night with high energy with Da’niyah Gilmore winning the tip-off for possession of the ball. Laila Khalil and Taanvi Cherukuri led the teams in steals with their quick defensive skills. Saanvi Chintam led the team in points, helping the Lady Broncos gain victory over Pike 22-12. Player of the game goes to Laila Khalil for her heart and hustle on the court.

The energy remained high as B-team took the floor for their game against Pike. Sanjana Ala won the tip-off for East and quickly scored a lay-up. It wasn’t long before East gained back possession of the ball thanks to the swiftness from Claire Mancusco and Caroline Campbell on defense.The Lady Broncos fought hard throughout the game and defeated Pike 24-8. Player of the game goes to Caroline Campbell for her defensive speed and hustle throughout the game.

A team finished the night playing great defense and owning the boards against Pike. Abby Webb led the team in steals while Avary Campbell led the team in assists. The Lady Broncos defeated Pike 24-21. Player of the game goes to Amber Coffey with 19 points and 8 rebounds.
