On Wednesday night the Broncos took on Coppell West Middle School in a battle against their crosstown rival coming out on top winning both games.
The B team led from start to finish, dominating the first snap of the game and came out on top 12-0. The Bronco defense got the night started with Jake Conoley recovering a fumble in the end zone for a early lead and from there on the Broncos never looked back. The running back trio of Ben Alford, Jacob Narez and Ridge Lawrence paced the offense with a dominating performance all night long. Player of the game goes to Evan Ballard for his steady play at Quarterback.
The A team game was a classic battle of old crosstown rivals who played their hearts out. The Broncos ground game was super dominant all night rushing up and down the field led by Jackson Echols and his 3 touchdowns. Taylor Compton had a huge safety and Lincoln Gardner and Bryce Ewers both had fumble recoveries for the Bronco defense. Diego Rodriquez converted on all 3 of his extra points on the night and helped East secure the win against West 26-12. Players of the game goes to the entire offensive line, Eric Anguiano, Rehan Huq, Brayden Mars, Zack Koller and Coleman Hodge for dominating the line of scrimmage and allowing the Bronco rushing attack to flourish.
