On Monday October 3rd the Bronco cross country team traveled to Pike Middle School to compete in the Meet of Champions. This was their last meet of the season and each athlete was ready to run their best race of the year.

The 8th grade boys finished in 3rd place. Leading them was Henry Hayden with a time of 12.02. Following him was Ridge Lawrence with a time of 12.30 and Tarek Neouchi with a time of 12.33. Henry Hayden, Tarek Neouchi, Mason Riley, Shuntaro Takahasha, and Ridge Lawrence all ran their best times of the year.

The 7th grade boys finished in 2nd place. Leading them was Heath McCarthy with a time of 11.46. Following him was Tanadorn Von Merveldt with a time of 12.11 and Itsuki Pena with a time of 12.52. Heath McCarthy, Myles Metrano, Itsuki Pena, Nolan Reeder, Atharva Thirtha, and Tanadorn Von Merveldt all ran their best times of the year.

The 7th and 8th grade girls were able to compete as individual runners. Claire Wenzel was the sole 7th grade girl that qualified to run and she ran her best race of the year with a time of 15.00. Maya Easterwood, Prisha Kolhe, Sutton Rasmussen, and Aadyaa Mehrotra all qualified to run in the 8th grade girls race. Maya Easterwood, Prisha Kolhe, and Sutton Rasmussen all ran their best race of the year.
