Our 8th grade Lady Broncos took on West last night and really wallered on them. C team started the night off with a great press and multiple steals to quickly run the score up.Trinity effortlessly drained 3’s and Olivia went off on defense. In the 3rd quarter they took off with a total of 14 points and a 36-16 win over West to finish the night. Our girls worked hard and did a great job of rebounding and getting multiple steals for the night. Player of the game goes to Aspen.
B team started the night off a little nervous with a few crazy passes, but quickly refocused to get the lead and clean up their game. Cici and Anya had probably a million rebounds. Sophia and Ryan killing the trap defense contributed to forced turnovers. We had multiple steals from every one and we really saw Marieme come out of her shell and take over under the basket. Every one contributed to the books that night with Leonna leading with 11 points and Cici with 10 points. Our girls did a great job of pressuring the ball and really working their ball movement. Player of the game goes to Leonna and Cici.
A team came out ready to deliver to their fans. Our press locked down and the girls got a 20 points lead within the first 3 minutes of the game. We pulled back and really got to work on some focus points for us going into next week. The girls did a great job of moving their feet on defense and blocking out strong in the paint. Our rebounds were the best they've been due to the solid block-outs and allowed us to get a 30+ point lead in the first half. We slowed the ball down and started to work on our ball movement and really started moving the ball well and letting our post work together. Katie & Andy leading the books with 14 points each, followed by Maren with 11. We are so proud of our girls and their incredible win over West with a final score of 61-8. Player of the game goes to Andy & Katie.
