After the long drive to Hillwood, the Lady Broncos were ready to get things going. The C team started strong and finished strong, but the 2nd and 3rd quarter loss of scoring was too much to overcome. Player of the game goes to Aspen Knife Chief with 5 points, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds.

B team came out strong ready for revenge with their best game of the season. They owned the game from the beginning. They worked the ball against their zone, taking great shots, and fabulous assists. Players of the game go to Sophia Williams and Marieme Sy. Sophia scored 5 points, had 2 steals and 4 rebounds. Marieme did a great job under the basket, securing 9 rebounds, and had 2 beautiful assists, as well as 2 steals.

The A team Lady Broncos started out struggling against the Hillwood zone. But as they started to move the ball, they started seeing more openings to score and took advantage, despite missing several key players. They knew they couldn’t foul and needed some stamina, with some players not leaving the floor the entire game. At the end of the 4th, they were tied up at 14-14, resulting in a 3 minute overtime. With 8 seconds left in OT, the Lady Chargers chunked up a 3 with 8 seconds left. Despite executing a great inbounds play, the Lady Broncos final shot fell short, resulting in a heartbreaker loss. Players of the game go to Callie Hall and Maren Hill. Callie fought under the basket with 11 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 beautiful assists. Maren led in scoring with 8 points, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds. Proud of these girls and their heart throughout this game.
