The Lady Broncos 8th grade C team lost a heartbreaker to Dawson with a score of 21-31. They struggled to score and couldn't keep the Dragons contained. Leading the C team was Samiriya Shelby with 7 points, 6 steals, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Siri Vemireddy also showed the aggressiveness that the team needed with 7 points, 5 steals, and 5 rebounds. Proud of the effort!

The B team followed this game, hungry for revenge on C team's loss. In a tight and stressful game, they pulled out a last minute win of 24-23!!!! Cici Bourque and Lexi Patton led the team on both sides of the ball. Their offense and defense, made this win possible. Cece had 6 points, 11 steals, and 6 rebounds. Lexie had 10 points, 5 steals, and 5 rebounds! She also scored the winning layup in the last minute of the game. Way to fight ladies!!!

A team started off a little slow, but quickly picked up the pace holding Dawson to 4 in the 2nd quarter and going into the half down by 2. Maggie had her best game of the season with 4 points and 2 steals and 2 rebounds. Our top scorers were Maggie and Katie. Katie also lead our rebounds with 6 total. The girls fought hard, but ultimately had too many turnovers in the 4th and Dawson came out on top.
