Last night the 7th grade Lady Broncos took on the Panthers of Pike Middle School out in the boonies! After the shock of the girls seeing farms on our journey to Pike they came out excited to play in their first game for East.

C Team got off to a quick start getting up 10-0. Steal after steal after steal helped lead these ladies to a 25-4 victory! Player of the game goes to Dani Green for her amazing ability to steal the ball from anybody.

B Team had a dominating performance! They owned the court with endless steals and rebounds. They started off strong with a 16-0 score after the first quarter and never looked back. Final score was 40-5. Player of the Game goes to Madi Alvarado, with her aggressive defense and ability to finish her shot giving her 15 points on the night.

With the Lady Broncos taking 2 out of 3 wins so far the A Team looked to make that 3 for 3. After a slow start to the game they started to find their groove in steals and transitioning. The 2nd quarter was when they really started to pull away. With a score of 37-4 at halftime there was no looking back! Player of the Game goes to Emey Holder for her speed and scoring that helped lift the team to a win. Final score was 58-12.
