The Lady Broncos really appreciated every one
coming out last night to the 8th grade appreciation and a special thank you to the teachers who helped honor our girls. The girls took on Carroll for their last home game. C team started the night off with an amazing 2-0 sweep over Carroll. We had some amazing digs from our back row players and some pretty good swings to stun Carroll. Our B team did not start off strong, but they finished with a fight. In the 2nd set the girls really turned it on and went back and forth all night. Marieme was a beast at the net and Berkeley was killing it in the back row. They fell short, but they finished with pride. Our A team came out ready to get after it and leave it all on the court. They did really well with being consistent from the service line with Anaya getting us quite a rally with strong serves. The speed of the game was very fast and the girls held their own against Carroll. In the 2nd set our blockers really improved on putting up a solid block against Carroll's strong hitters and they really got some good touches to slow down the speed of the ball for our back row players. Arya has some great digs off of REALLY BIG swings. Carroll did NOT phase her! A lot of hustle from all of our girls last night, but still fell short. The girls face Coppell West next week to start the ,"Battle of the Coppells" ,with North the following week. Come out and support your girls on the road .
