The East boys traveled to the land of the Dragons on Wednesday evening to take on Carroll and Dawson. Several school records fell as the Broncos shined amongst the gathering storms clouds of a North Texas spring night.

The first record fell in the 300 hurdles as J McGill galloped through competition with a time of 42.5, beating the previous record by more than a second. The Four Horseman of the mile relay (Wes Polk, Matteo Primo, Jonas Rogers and J McGill) also took down a school record, besting the previous record by more than 5 seconds with a time of 3:48.5. Other highlights of the night include a first place finish by Matteo Primo in the 400, first place finishes in discus, shot put and the 800 by Edward Griffin, and a first place finish in pole vault by Camden McGregor.

7th grade fought hard against tough competition from the Dragons. Noah Schuller was a bright spot for the Broncos as he took blue ribbons in the 110 hurdles and pole vault, as well as third in triple jump and sixth in 300 hurdles. Gabe Campos was once again reliable in the distance running as he finished third in both the 1600 and 2400. Ian Nichols, Aiden Sasser, Gentry Currie, Zander Montgomery and Judah Mullican all hit personal bests in their respective events.
