The 7th grade boys played two games against both Southlake schools on Saturday morning and Monday night.

Against Carroll on Saturday morning, the C team fought hard against the Dragons but fell 30-12. Player of the Game is Gentry Currie for solid defense and rebounding.

B team won a close game that came down to the last second 26-25. Player of the Game is Brady Lopez for his leadership and grit.

A team won 66-31 thanks to 35 points from Jaelon Germany and hot shooting from Andrew Chung. Player of the Game is Andrew Chung rebounding and providing critical 3s.


Dawson traveled to Coppell last night trying to ruin the Broncos season, but were shut out by all three teams.

C teams scrapped back from a 10 point deficit to win the game 22-20 thanks to offensive production from Aaron Malone and Matt Jessee. Player of the Game is Liam Spiller for solid defense.

B team battled hard against the Dragons. Despite leading at half, the Broncos fell behind and trailed by as much as six. Down four with a minute left, the Broncos hit two layups to tie the game. Diego Bracamontes had his best game yet and Nigel Sankoorikal provided a timely 3 to tie the game. The game ended in a 42-42 tie as the Broncos remain undefeated. Player of the Game is Diego Bracamontes for playing big and coming through for his team in heat of battle.

A team throttled the Dragons early on thanks to a 29-7 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Justus Childers led the way offensively against Dawson with 22 points and Sibu Socks dominated the glass and also scored 12 points. Jaelon Germany contributed another 21 points as the Broncos triumphed, 74-43. Player of the Game is Justus Childers for his best game yet.

7th grade finished a combined 4-1-1 against the hated Dragons. 7th grade plays again on Saturday at home against Wilson MS. Come out and support the kids as they compete for the district title. Go Broncos!
