8th grade football traveled to the Dragons of Dawson yesterday eve. Which, by the way, Dawson spelled backwards is Noswad. I don't know, it just sounds like an elementary school insult. Like, I'm pretty sure I called the kid that use to bully me in 4th grade a Noswad when he pushed my off the merry-go-round.

Anyhow, B team fell 1 score short but played very well. Players of the game were Liam Spiller for leading the offense well and getting into the endzone for a Bronco touchdown. He also had a handy batted ball at the line on a key 4th down. The other B team player of the game was Arjun Bhatnagar. He sliced his way through the D-Line like that old cheese grader my granny use to use when she made me my afternoon grilled cheese. He had several tackles and a fumble recovery.

The A team also played well. Justus Childers led the A team offense and defense like Hannibal Smith use to lead his A Team in 1983 (if you're a youngster, that means he did well). Justus tossed in a handy touchdown on a 4th and 1 on the goal line. The other player of the game was Trevor Mergele for snapping the ball well and getting after those dudes from Noswad.
