The 8th grade Broncos stampeded over the North Cougars Tuesday night. The A team kicked things off with a long touchdown pass from Sash Suriya to Tristan Mori-McKee to put the Broncos up right away. East was able to run the ball very well all night with great blocking by the line and solid runs by Crawford O’Connor, Jax Singleton, Matthew Epps, and Drayton Shanks. The defense stepped up shutting out the North offense, led by a Sebastian Wilkerson interception. Brody Vonz had a big touchdown catch and numerous tackles making him the player of the game with the Broncos 32-0 win.
Next up came B team where they started off hot with great defense and individual tackling. Noah Sasser and Grant Hicks both had clutch interceptions to prevent the North Cougars from scoring. The offense was led by a two-headed monster running attack of Tanadorn and Datiel with 5 total touchdowns between them. The B team improved to 2-0 with the 38-0 win with player of the game Datiel Percoliza.
