On Monday evening the East Broncos football team hosted the Grapevine Ponies. The Broncos came out of the gate firing on all cylinders scoring quickly and often. Defensively the Broncos scored four touchdowns, led by Brody Mitchell with two fumble recoveries for touchdowns. Carson Hodge and Landon Nichols each added a fumble recovery for touchdowns on their own. Landon Ray was a ball hawk in the secondary with three interceptions. The Broncos dominant defense guided the victory over Grapevine 62-0.

The Broncos B team fell behind early in the first quarter to Grapevine but battled back to take a halftime lead, led by Jackson Pope-Hopkins scoring 3 rushing touchdowns and an interception by him and Cooper Keller. In the second half Brady Stoneman and James Edwards stepped up huge defensively for the Broncos. Edwards stopped Grapevine in their own end zone for a safety and Stoneman added a pick 6 to the scoreboard. The Broncos end up winning 35-21.
